Severino Industries (PTY) Ltd was established in 2016 and moved straight into wholesale. The company has now traded (over and above petrol, diesel and paraffin) marine gas oil and aviation fuel.
We do mostly export, and our client base has grown from ad hoc supply to Eskom to contracts with Smith Amandla and The Oceana Group. The company has not only been a benefactor but has contributed enormously to enterprise and socio-economic development. We trade in the following products – Petrol 93 & 95, Diesel (10ppm, 50ppm & 500ppm), HFO, Jet A1 and lubricants. The company has also acquired a fleet of tankers for our niche clients.

A level 1 BBBEE contributor, the company is setting standards for emerging entrepreneurs, and that’s how we are in the petroleum sector. We possess the following licenses – HDSA License, Import aviation license, Bunker license and Removal of goods license for export.
We are a petroleum investment vehicle. It provides the petroleum industry with both enterprise development and business development opportunities. The company is creating a formidable portfolio through the acquisition of existing facilities, partnering with established partners, and developing a sustainable business model for itself and emerging entrepreneurs. The company’s management participate actively within the portfolio, both at strategic and operational levels. We have significant support from PetroSA, Masana and Engen with other majors playing a complementary role, in terms of local supply from the National Grid. This allows the company to source along the coast from Durban to Cape Town from Engen depots. Inland at Sasol Natref, Sasol Secunda, Transnet Tarlton, Total Alrode, Total Watloo, Total Nelspruit. We have now recently expanded to Tzaneen and Bloemfontein. The company is involved in the Exports to Botswana and Zimbabwe. Our Bunker services are through our firm partnership with The South African Bunkering and Trading and a complementary role with Kepu Petroleum. Severino Industries has a strong distributor network that purchases most of our fuel. Severino Industries Retail Network that Severino Industries has developed and patented, the Severino Industries brand, which is projected to grow to 30 sites by the year 2018.
